Nat Turner Revolution’s mission is to end the prohibition on drugs.

While recent reforms on drugs are encouraging, we have a very long way to go. Hence, we’d very much like to know if you’ll be interested in receiving an application for a grant to fund a multimedia advertising project advancing the cause of those devastated by the War on Drugs that implements this prohibition?

Our strategy is to mount communication campaigns targeting different segments of our population so they will all press elected representatives, especially Members of Congress, to:

1. Scrap laws enabling this “forever” war, particularly the Controlled Substance Act (CSA) of the Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Act of 1970
2. Channel the gains from ending the war to our people, prioritizing those most stricken by the war, viz., communities of color.
3. Specifically, we advocate free clinical distribution of drugs. As our foundational thesis argues, this is the only viable strategy for helping people dependent on drugs while minimizing demand for such drugs.

Extensive research shows the CSA stands on decades of false fears and dirty propaganda. To wash these away, we need to put out persuasive and persistent cause-related advertising. When our fellow citizens know the facts and see the clear-cut logic of our arguments, they will have to rise against the CSA and the War on Drugs it enables.

That’s why our advertising strategy is based on eight indictments (expanded in the thesis) against the Members of Congress. As the indictments show, the longer Members of Congress retain CSA, the more they harm our country.

On the other hand, they will help every American by redeploying resources currently wasted on fighting our fellow citizens for the good of our people. Indeed, we are prepared to actually indict Members of Congress in federal courts if that’s what it takes!

Though Nat Turner Revolution was formed only in May 2021, we have:

• Engaged a volunteer team of experts, who have put together a comprehensive advertising plan that employs the latest and smartest tools of persuasion, and a standby legal strategy.
• Received an in-kind donation of $100,000 for online advertising.
• Received $10,000 of free advertising from Google.
• Been presented cost estimates by Hawke Media (hawkemedia.com), a digital advertising company, and Salesforce (salesforce.com), the marketing and CRM tech giant.

Obviously, we will need adequate funds to put our strategy in action, more so because the war does benefit a powerful few at the cost of its many victims. Therefore, as our formal launch approaches, we would truly appreciate an opportunity to discuss the possibility of a grant for a cause-related advertising project with you or an executive you designate. We will be seeking funds from other grantors too, and would welcome your advice and aid on that front.
